Booking Terms & Conditions of the agency "Paleologos s.a."
(Updated February 1, 2024)

- The use of mask on the ferries is required !


- The provisions of Presidential Decree no. 23/1999 "Registration of persons traveling by passenger ships operating to or from Greek ports in accordance with Directive 98/41/EC/1998", are amended, according to PD 102/2019 (A΄ 182). To make that possible, tickets are issued BY NAME and specifically must include :

• PASSENGER’S FIRST & LAST NAME (In full)
• GENDER : MALE / FEMALE
• NATIONALITY (e.g. GR)
• DATE OF BIRTH (Day / Month / Year)
• PASSPORT NUMBER (Where required)


* Embarkation Procedure :
Passengers and Vehicles must report at the embarkation port for check-in at least one (1,5) hour before departure.

* Reservations : 
The ticket is strictly personal. It is not transferable and is valid only for the specific accommodation and route that has been issued for.
.

* Tickets cancellation :
- Tickets can be cancelled only at Paleologos Travel Agency or at the specific shipping company's central/port office. They cannot be cancelled over the phone and their owners should deliver them to the agency of issue.
- After departure, tickets are neither cancelled nor reverted to open and the date of travel cannot be changed.
 

 
 
Cancellation Fees :



1. A-Ships Management :

- Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% refund.
- Cancellation from 29 days till 7 days before departure: 75% refund.
- Cancellation from 6 days till 24hours before departure: 50% refund.
- For non-show tickets there is no refund.
- The refund is only made by the agency that has issued the ticket.




2.
Aegean Flying Dolphins :

- Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 12 hours before departure date: 50% refund on tickets value.
- Cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure are NOT entitled to a refund.
Open tickets are valid and can be used for one year after their first date of issue.




3.
Aegean Speed Lines :

- 100% Cancellation up to 14 days prior to departure.
- 75% Cancellation up to 7 days prior to departure.
- 50% Cancellation up to 12 hours prior to departure.
- No refund from 12 hours until departure.
- Tickets can be changed to open status 4 hrs prior to departure.
- Tickets made open can be replaced up to one year after their issuance date, and only once.




4.
Aegeon Pelagos :

HIGH SEASON : 17/12/21-10/01/22, 04/03/22-08/03/22, 15/04/22-03/05/22, 10/06/22-05/09/22
- Up to 14 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- From 13 days and up to 7 days prior to departure: A 25% cancellation charge is applies of alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- From 6 days and up to 2 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- 2 hours prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation charge is applied and the tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

LOW SEASON : All the other dates except those mentioned in HIGH SEASON
- Up to 1 hour prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- 1 hour prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation charge is applied and the tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.




5. ALKO Ferries :


- Up to 7 days prior to the scheduled departure of the ship: Tickets can be cancelled without cancellation penalties (100% refund) as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned.
- Up to 4 days prior to the scheduled departure of the ship: Tickets can be cancelled with a 75% refund of the fare, as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned.
- Up to 1 day prior to the scheduled departure of the ship: Tickets can be cancelled with a cancellation penalty of 50% (50% refund), as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned.

NOTE :
All tickets may be changed into Open-Date Tickets up to one (1) hour before the time of scheduled departure.

After departure :
Tickets cannot be cancelled or changed into Open-Date Tickets and the date of travel may not be changed.

Tickets are cancelled by the company’s Central Offices and Central Agents and cannot be cancelled over the phone. Interested parties must hand over the tickets to the aforementioned agencies or offices.




6. Alpha Lines :

HIGH SEASON :
Up to 3 days from the scheduled travel date:
- Return fare without cancellation fees.
- Convert tickets to open date tickets.
- Convert tickets to new travel date tickets.

Up to 1 hour before departure:
- 50% refund of the fare or convertion to open date tickets or new travel date tickets.
- Return fare without cancellation fees for proven reasons of force majeure.

Until departure time:
- Refund 50% of the fare.
- Tickets are not converted to open date tickets or new travel date tickets.
- Conversion of tickets to open date tickets for proven reasons of force majeure.
- Conversion of tickets into new travel date tickets for proven reasons of force majeure.

After departure:
- The fare is not refundable.
- Tickets are not converted to open date tickets.
- Tickets are not converted to new travel date tickets.

Open date tickets:
- Open date tickets are cancelled without charge if they were originally issued as open date tickets.
- Tickets that have been converted to open date tickets are subject to the cancellation conditions applicable to the original tickets.

LOW SEASON :
Up to 24 hours from the scheduled travel date:
- Return fare without cancellation fees.
- Convert tickets to open date tickets.
- Convert tickets to new travel date tickets.

Until departure time:
- 50% refund of the fare or convertion into open date tickets or new travel date tickets.
- Return fare without cancellation fees for proven reasons of force majeure.

After departure:
- The fare is not refundable.
- Tickets are not converted to open date tickets.
- Tickets are not converted to new travel date tickets.

Refunds of fares are made only by the agencies that have issued the tickets.




7. ANE of Kalymnos :

- If canceled up to 7 days before the scheduled departure date, you are entitled to a 100% refund of the ticket amount. The ticket can also be converted to an "open ticket".
- If canceled up to 4 hours before the scheduled departure date, you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the ticket amount. The ticket can also be converted to an "open ticket".
- If canceled up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure date, you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the ticket amount.

- You can convert your regular ferry tickets to "Open Dated" up to 4 hours before your scheduled departure.
- Ticket validity: Expires one year from the date of reservation.




8. ANEK Lines :

HIGH SEASON : 17/12/21-09/01/22, 04/03/22, 07/03/22, 15/04/22-01/05/22, 09/06/22-10/06/22, 13/06/22, 24/06/22-04/09/22
- Up to 14 days prior to
departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

- 1 hour prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation charge is applied and the tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

ADRIATIC LINES
- A 100% refund, up to 22 days prior to departure.
- A 80% refund, from 21 days up to 8 days prior to departure.
- A 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours prior to departure.
- The Company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to ship’s departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.

- EARLY BOOKING offer :
- Reservations may be changed or cancelled without fees until 15th March 2022. Early Booking tickets are non-refundable after 15th March 2022.
- If the travel dates or itineraries are changed or ticket is turned into open date after 15th March 2022, difference between early booking and brochure fares has to be paid – difference is calculated on the affected leg.

* Valid for all accommodation and private vehicle categories.
* Discount is cumulative with all other offers/discounts provided by the ferry line.




10. ANES Ferries :

Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 12 hours before departure date: 50% refund on tickets value.
- Cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure are NOT entitled to a refund.
- Alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date till one hour before the departure.

- After departure:
Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS :
- Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open date.
- For tickets that have been converted to an open date, the cancellation policy for the original tickets applies.
- If passengers wish to travel on a date when a higher fare is in force, then they must pay the difference between the current and the pre-paid open ticket fare.


SARONIC ISLANDS

12.
Bodrum Express Lines :

- Tickets are refundable only during the issued day.
 
- No changes can be made after scheduled departure time.
- Can a ticket be neither cancelled nor refunded after scheduled departure time.
- Open tickets are valid for 1 year.



13. Cyclades Fast Ferries :

- From the date of issue of the ticket until 8 days before the scheduled time of departure: tickets can be cancelled without cancellation penalties if the whole body of the ticket is returned or they can be converted to open date tickets.
- From 7 days up until the scheduled time of departure: tickets can be cancelled with a cancellation penalty of 50% as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned or alternatively, they can be converted to open date tickets.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to open date, and no change of date is possible.

* Tickets can only be cancelled by the travel agents by which they were issued; they cannot be cancelled by phone. Persons wishing to cancel a ticket must deliver it to the agency that has issued it.




14.
Dodecanese Flying Dolphins :

- Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
- From 14 days up to 7 days prior to the vessel’s scheduled date and time of departure,
a refund of 75% on the fare is granted.
- From 7 days to 3 days prior to the vessel’s scheduled date and time of departure, a refund of 50% on the fare is granted.
- No Refund Is Given and 100% Cancellation will be charged for cancellations occurred from 2 days till the departure time of the scheduled voyage.

- Alternatively, the passenger is given the possibility to convert these tickets into Open Date (Open) in order to use them on a future trip, provided that the request has been made before departure.
- After the vessel’s departure tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to Open Date (Open) and cannot be transferred to another date.
- Tickets cannot be cancelled via telephone. Tickets can be cancelled or converted only by the travel agent that issued them or by the company’s central port agent.


15. Dodekanisos Seaways :

- 7 days prior the departure of the ship: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- 7 days until 1 hour prior the departure of the ship: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After the departure: Tickets cannot be canceled, cannot be converted to open date tickets, and cannot travel another date.
- The passenger may convert a ticket to open date ticket until one hour prior the departure of the vessel (the departure date/time that appears on the ticket). The open date ticket then will be valid for a period of one year from the initial travel date that appears on the ticket. There is no returning fare applied or cancellation percentage at open date tickets.
- Tickets cannot be cancelled via telephone. Tickets can be cancelled or converted only from the travel agency that issued them or by the company’s central port agent.

- Cancellation up to 30 days before departure:
90% refund.
- Cancellation from 29 days till 7 days before departure: 70% refund.
- Cancellation from 6 days till 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation in less than 48 hours prior to departure and for non-show tickets: non refundable.

The refund is only made by the agency that has issued the ticket.



18. Exas Shipping :

HIGH SEASON :

- 7 days prior to departure:
Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- From 7 days and up to 4 hours prior to departure:
A 50% cancellation
charge is applied or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.
- 4 hours prior and up to the departure:
A 50% cancellation charge is applied and the tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.
- After departure:

Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.


LOW SEASON :

- 3 days prior to departure:
Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

- Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open date. If they have been converted to open date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

*Cancellation Policy for itineraries: Bodrum - Kos - Bodrum  &  Turgut Reis - Kos - Turgut Reis
- Up to 24 hours prior to departure: 100% refund.
- 24 hours or less prior to departure: No refund.

. Golden Star Ferries :

- Up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund or change to open date ticket.
- From 14 days up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund or change to open date ticket.
- From 6 days up to 12 hours before departure: 50% cancellation fee.

- Tickets cannot been cancelled or changed to open date after vessel’s departure.



20. Goutos Lines :

-
Tickets cancelled up to 48 hours before the ship’s departure time have no charge.
- Tickets cancelled up to 12 hours before the ship’s departure (exact time) have 50% refund of the fare.
- For cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure time fare CANNOT be refunded.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to open date, and no change of date is possible.

- Tickets can be cancelled only by the issuing agency. Passengers wishing to cancel their tickets must present them to the issuing agency.
- Tickets’ phone cancellations are not permitted.
- There is a choice of change in Open-Date tickets to be used in a next trip.
- Tickets converted to Open-Date tickets have a 50% cancellation charge.
- In cases where the scheduled itinerary is not carried out through the fault of the company or due to force majeure (e.g. prohibition of departure owing to weather conditions), the entire value of the ticket is returned to the passenger.



21.
Grandi Navi Veloci :

- From booking and up to 20 days before departure: 25%.
- From 19 days and until 4 days before departure: 30%.
- From 3 days and until 2 hours before departure: 50%.
- No refund for Advance Bookings.

- No refund shall be paid for cancellations made less than 2 hours before expected departure, or to passengers not boarding.

- There is no option for partial cancellation of a ticket, therefore cancellation shall refer to the entire voyage.
- The calculation of the terms shall run from the day following the cancellation date and includes the date of departure.



22.
Grimaldi Lines :

The following cancellation fees apply on the total amount of the ticket (passengers, vehicles, pets, other items)* :

- 10% penalty (plus fix dues) up to 30 days prior to sailing.
- 30% penalty (plus fix dues) from 29 to 7 days prior to sailing.
- 50% penalty (plus fix dues) from 6 to 2 days prior to sailing.
- 100% penalty (plus fix dues), 1 day or less from departure and no show.

- Both for tickets purchased with standard rate and for those with special rate, any pre-purchased services (meals, pet kit, shuttle bus Naples-Civitavecchia a / r) are fully refunded if the cancellation occurs within 2 days from the departure date. In case of cancellation made from the day before departure, however, there is no refund.

- For special fare tickets, cancellation does not entitle you to any refund unless otherwise provided for by the conditions of applicability of the special offer.

- Requests for cancellation of a Standard fare ticket will not be accepted if it has already been subject, twice, to a change in date, time and / or line.

- No reimbursement is due for failure to board due to refusal by the authorities or lack / insufficiency of the passenger or vehicle document.




23. Hellenic Seaways (Operated by Blue Star Ferries) :

24. Ionian Seaways - Ionian Cruises
:  

- From the date of the ticket issue and up to 30 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
- From 29 days to 7 days before the scheduled departure, 75% refund of the ticket value.

- Tickets can be change to open until 24 hours before departure, after 24 hours they can not be changed.
- Open tickets can be used by the end of the year in which they were issued.
- Tickets that are open for 48 to 24 hours before departure when the ticket is replaced will be charged 50%.

Lines :

- Tickets can be cancelled without cancellation fees the latest 7 days prior departure.
- After the issuance of the tickets no further modifications / changes
can be applied on the reservation.



28. Kerkyra Seaways :

- For cancellations over 7 days before the scheduled departure time, 100% of the ticket fare is refunded.
- For cancellations up to 7 days before the scheduled departure time, 75% of the ticket fare is refunded.
- For cancellations up to 3 days before the scheduled departure time, 50% of the ticket fare is refunded.
- For cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure, there is no refund.




29. Lafasi MC
:

HIGH SEASON : 01/04 - 15/10 & 15/12 - 15/01

- Up to one day before departure, 100% of the fare is refunded.
- The same or even after departure, tickets are not canceled and are not converted to an open date, while a change of date is not possible.

LOW SEASON : 16/01 - 30/03 & 16/10 - 14/12

- Up to one hour before departure, tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to an open date.
- After departure, tickets are not canceled and are not converted to an open date, while a change of date is not possible.

*Tickets are only canceled by the issuing agencies. It is not possible to cancel by phone. Interested parties should submit their tickets to the issuing agency.

Levante Ferries :  

- Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.
- Up to 12 hours before departure date: 50% refund on tickets value.
- Cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure are NOT entitled to a refund.
- Alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date till one hour before the departure.




31. Liberty Lines
:

- 10% for cancellations, up to the day before departure.
- 25% for cancellations, on the day of departure and up to 30 minutes before the same.


 

32. Meander :  

- In the event of cancellation, written notice must be received by Meander Travel at least 3 days prior to the clients' arrival in order to receive the full refund.
- In the event of no show, 100% cancellation fee will apply.
- In the event of the cancellations due to the bad weather conditions there will be no refund.




33. Minoan Lines :

DOMESTIC LINES
- From the date of the ticket issue and up to 14 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
- From 13 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 75% refund.
- From 6 days up to 12 hours before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.
- From 12 hours up to the scheduled departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

ADRIATIC LINES
- From the date of the ticket issue and up to 30 days before the scheduled departure: 90% refund
(+10).
- From 29 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 7
0% refund (+10).
- From 6 days up to 2 days before the scheduled departure: 50% refund
(+10).
- On the day of the scheduled departure: the fare is not refunded.
- Tickets can be refunded only by the issuing agency.

- EARLY BOOKING offer :
*Early Booking tickets can be canceled without cancellation fees up to 20 days before the trip. Τhe trip dates of tickets can be changed or altered to open date. If the trip dates of Early Booking tickets have been changed or altered to open date, the Early Booking discount no longer applies on the altered leg(s) of the trip and the resulting price difference must be paid when the new date is decided.
*Not applicable to fixed charges. Not applicable to Open-Date bookings.



34. Naviera Armas :

- Three days before the date the ship departs: 15% of the total ticket price.
- After the date the ship departs: 25% of the fare price.
- More than three days before the departure date: 0% expenses.
- If it is cancelled on the same day as the one the ticket was issued,
the only expenses are the Shipping Company fee.
- In the event that the trip has been cancelled for causes attributable to the ferry operator: 0% expenses.



35. Nova Ferries :

- Up to 24 hours prior to departure: Tickets are fully refundable or new tickets of same or greater value can be issued for a different date/time (also depending on availability).
- Between 24 hours and 1 hour prior to departure: Tickets are NOT refundable. Passengers can only issue new tickets for a different date/time and of the same or greater value (also depending on availability).
- For less than 1 hour prior to departure: No refund or amendment of tickets is possible.
- Ticket Loss: In case of loss of ticket(s) passenger(s) must purchase new tickets and pay for them again.




36. Phoenix Marine Ltd :

We would like to inform you that as of 29/5/2016 and after information received from the Ministry Of Mercantile Marine and Island Policy as well as the Port Treasury Committee of the South East Aegean Islands in the Line between Fethiye and Rhodes it is also I effect the article No 20 of Law 3622/2007 as published at the National Gazette No 281 / A of 20.12.2007 consequently all passengers will be charged € 6 per person including the special ISPS - Charge Port Tax.



37. Red Star Ferries :

- Cancellation up to 30 days before departure:
90% refund.
- Cancellation from 29 days till 7 days before departure: 70% refund.
- Cancellation from 6 days till 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation in less than 48 hours prior to departure and for non-show tickets: Non refundable.
- The refund is only made by the agency that has issued the ticket.



38. Saronic Ferries :

Up to 24 hours prior to departure: Tickets are fully refundable or new tickets of same or greater value can be issued for a different date/time (also depending on availability).
- Between 24 hours and 12 hour prior to departure:
50% refundable. Passengers can only issue new tickets for a different date/time and of the same or greater value (also depending on availability).

- Up to 24 hours prior to departure: 100% refund.
- Up to 12 hours prior to departure: 50% refund.
- 12 hours or less prior to departure: No refund.
- Alternatively, tickets can be converted to “Open date tickets”, for another departure date, up to one hour prior to original departure.



40. Sarris Cruises & Lines :


- For cancellations up to 7 days before the scheduled departure, 100% of fare is refunded.
- For cancellations up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure, 50% of the fare is refunded.
- For cancellations less than 24 hours from the scheduled departure, no refund will be made.




41. Sea Speed Ferries :


HIGH SEASON :

- Up to 14 days before departure:
tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or can be transferred for another date or can be converted to open date tickets for later use.
- From 14 days up to 12 hours before departure:
tickets can change date or can be converted to open date tickets or can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees.
- Less than 12 hours up to 4 hours before departure:
tickets can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees, cannot be transferred to another date or converted to open.
- Less than 4 hours and up to the time of departure or after the departure:
tickets cannot be cancelled, transferred to another date or converted to open.

Open date tickets can be cancelled only if they were originally issued as open date tickets. Tickets that have been converted to open can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees.

LOW SEASON :

- Up to 4 days before departure:
tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or can be transferred for another date or can be converted to open date tickets for later use.
- From 4 days up to 4 hours before departure:
tickets can change date or can be converted to open date tickets or can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees.
- Less than 4 hours and up to the time of departure:
tickets can be cancelled with 50% cancellation fees.

After the departure, tickets cannot be cancelled, transferred to another date or converted to open.




42. Sea Jets :

- Up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund
- Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund
- Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund
- For cancellations made in less than 12 hours before the departure no refund can be made.

Tickets can also be converted to open date tickets (open) at least 24 hours before departure. Open date tickets can be replaced with another date tickets for any route subject to availability (valid for one year and it can not be canceled, the fare is non-refundable).



43. Sebeco Lines :

- Up to 14 days prior to departure: 100% refund.
- Up to
7 days prior to departure: 75% refund.
- Up to
12 hours prior to departure: 50% refund.


NOTE: All tickets may be changed into Open Date Tickets up to three (3) hours prior the time of scheduled departure.

After the departure, tickets cannot be cancelled, transferred to another date or converted to open.




44. Skyros Shipping :

- Up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund
- Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund
- Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund
- For cancellations made in less than 12 hours before the departure no refund can be made.

45. Sky Marine Ferries :

- No Refund Is Given for cancellations occurred from 1 day till the departure time of the scheduled voyage.
- Up to 24 hours before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
- In case the passenger asks for refund for one leg of Open Return or Same Day Return ticket he is entitled to the refund equal the difference between the value of One Way ticket price and the amount he has paid.
- Alternatively, the passenger is given the possibility to convert these tickets into Open Date (Open) in order to use them on a future trip, provided that the request has been made before departure.
- After the vessel's departure tickets cannot be cancelled and refunded.



46. Sunrise Lines :

- 100% refund for all cancellations made prior 2 hours to the departure of the ferry.

OPEN TICKETS up to 2 hours before the departure.



47. Superfast Ferries :

ADRIATIC LINES
- A 100% refund, up to 22 days prior to departure.
- A 80% refund, from 21 days up to 8 days prior to departure.
- A 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours prior to departure.
The Company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to ship’s departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.

- EARLY BOOKING offer :
- Reservations may be changed or cancelled without fees until 15th March 2022. Early Booking tickets are non-refundable after 15th March 2022.
- If the travel dates or itineraries are changed or ticket is turned into open date after 15th March 2022, difference between early booking and brochure fares has to be paid – difference is calculated on the affected leg.

* Valid for all accommodation and private vehicle categories.
* Discount is cumulative with all other offers/discounts provided by the ferry line.




48. Trasmapi :

- A claim for refund submitted 7 days before departure is subject to a deduction of 10%.
- A claim for refund submitted at least 48 hours before departure
is subject to a deduction of 20%.
- Tickets presented for cancellation outside the above mentioned periods will not be accepted.

*An OPEN tickets is valid for one year from date of issue.
*Tickets are only canceled by the issuing agencies. It is not possible to cancel by phone. Interested parties should submit their tickets to the issuing agency.



49. Triton Ferries :

HIGH SEASON :

- Up to 7 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- From 7 days and up to 2 hours prior to departure: A
50% cancellation charge is applies of alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- 2 hours prior and up to the departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied.
Tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

LOW SEASON :
- Up to 3 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- From 3 days prior
and up to 2 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- 2 hours prior and up to the departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied.
Tickets cannot be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.



50. Turyol s.s :

International Ticket :
- In cases when there is more than 1 hour to the departure time, ticket changes or returns are only made over the applicable price and within the period of the trip after the 30% of the ticket price is deducted.
- In cases where there is less than 1 hour to the departure time, no changes and returns of the tickets are carried out.

Ayvalık - Lesbos & Cesme - Chios :
- No cancellation or refund on all tickets. Only, Date - Time change can be made.
- A once, Date - Time change can be made on all tickets, until 48 hours below.
- For all tickets types, Date change cannot be made less than 48 hours to the ship's departure.




51. Ventouris Ferries
(Perla EE / Nobel Maritime) :

- A 100% refund, up to 91 days prior to departure.
- A 80% refund, from 90 days up to 8 days prior to departure.
- A 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours prior to departure.

*The company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to ship's departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.



52. Zante Ferries :

HIGH SEASON : 04/03/22 - 07/03/22, 20/04/22 - 26/04/22, 29/04/22 - 02/05/22, 10/06/22 - 13/06/22, 04/07/22 - 04/09/2022
- Ticket cancellations can be made up to 5 days before the departure of the ship. Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to an open date or other date.
- From 5 days to 12 hours before departure there is 50% cancellation fee or tickets are converted for another date or on an open date.

LOW SEASON : All other dates except those mentioned in HIGH SEASON
- Ticket cancellations can be made up to 3 days prior to departure. Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to an open date or other date.
- From 3 days up to 2 hours prior to the departure of the ship, there is 50% cancellation fees or the tickets are converted into an open date.

*For all periods after the departure of the ship the tickets are not canceled and are not converted to an open date unless the passenger can travel for reasons of force majeure and there is the relevant document confirming the event.

* Paleologos S.A. does not charge fees for ticket collection at our head office or port kiosks in Heraklion Crete but some agencies have a(n) (extra) fee when printing the prepaid tickets.

* Ticket alterations or cancellations are accepted from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 (Greek local time), at least 48 hours prior departure.

* Clients are obligated to inform us via email regarding any change or cancellation by providing their booking details and contact information. If not, they are responsible for the not proper and timely services provided and for the additional charges that may occur by not following all the above.



* Ticket Changes :

For every change per booking there is a fee of :
3.00 Euro for bookings up to 50.00 Euro
5.00 Euro for bookings up to 150.00 Euro

Β) If you have the tickets in hands, you ought to return them to us. The new tickets can either be sent to you if you agree to pay the delivery cost again or we can arrange for you to collect them at the port office on the departure day free of charge.

* Printing of Tickets, and the provision of services at the request of passengers (modifications, alterations, upgrades, etc.) may lead to additional charge from the Central Agents. Central-Port agencies are individual private entities, and Paleologos S.A. bears no responsibility for any pricing & service charge.

Loss of tickets :
If you lose your tickets, you have to :
1) State the loss by writing to Paleologos S.A.
2) In order to travel, it will be necessary to purchase new tickets.
Provided that, by the end of the year the Shipping Company audit files show that the ticket(s) have not been used you are eligible either for a refund or a new ticket of equal value. This condition depends on the ferry company.

Sailing Delays :
Our Company is not responsible for any delay in sailing, deviation or modification of the scheduled route, due to the bad weather conditions, the orders of the Ministry of Merchant Marine, the Port authorities or due to force majeure, that may affected passengers' safety. In case the voyage is canceled off due to force majeure (e.g. bad weather conditions ) or due to the shipping company's responsibility, passengers are entitled to a full refund while the company ( Paleologos s.a. ) has no further obligation. Timetables, fares and travel conditions are subject to modifications, which are published through every shipping company's online reservation system on our website www.ferries.gr. 

The shipping companies reserve the right to substitute the vessel for which the ticket was issued upon approval from the Ministry of Merchant Marine.

Passengers' Name List :
Pursuant to EU Directive 98/41, the shipping company has the obligation to keep a passengers' name list of every voyage, for safety reasons. For the purposes of such registration, tickets should be issued in the name of each passenger and should especially include : 
 · PASSENGER'S SURNAME AND INITIAL 
 · GENDER: MALE/FEMALE 
 · AGE: ADULT- CHILD - INFANT 
 · TYPE OF VEHICLE AND PLATE NUMBER 
Furthermore, our company should be informed by any passenger who needs SPECIAL CARE, upon the issuance of the relevant ticket. 

It is pointed out that the issuance of tickets on board is strictly prohibited. Therefore, for convenience reasons as well, the booking and issuance of tickets should be affected always on time.

Fares / Discounts :
The fares include sea passage in selected accommodation and all port charges (for Domestic lines only). Meals and beverages are not included. 

All discounts are not cumulative and only the highest discount is granted at a time, when applicable conditions are met. 

Passengers entitled to discounted fares are kindly requested to state it at the time of booking and carry with them all the necessary proof documents during the tickets issue as well as the check-in procedure. Once the ticket is issued, no refunds are provided for price differences. 

Groups, trucks, buses, baggage trailers, boat trailers and unescorted vehicles are subject to special agreements. Please e-mail to booking@ferries.gr


Children under the age of 5 (infants) travel free of charge and exclusively on DECK accommodation category in  Conventional ferries. In other type of accommodations (e.g. cabins) are entitled to 50% discount (children's fare). They also travel free of charge in all accommodation categories in High Speed vessels. 

Children 5-10 years old benefit with 50% reduction of the total fare, in all accommodation categories, in Conventional and High Speed vessels.

Only Greek public universities’ students are entitled to student's discount.

Safety on Board :
Neither the Shipping Companies nor the ships are liable for any accident, loss or damage occurring prior to boarding, during loading and after disembarkation. 

It is strictly forbidden for passengers to carry firearms, explosives, flammables, combustibles and other dangerous substances or materials on board. 

According to the High Speed code safety regulations, passengers are not allowed to stay at any open area of the High Speed vessels during the sailing.

Luggage :
Luggage may be left inside vehicles. Passengers are kindly requested to take their personal belongings that may use during the voyage. 

Access to the ship garage during the voyage is prohibited. 

The Shipping Companies shall not be held liable in case of loss of money or valuables stored in cars, luggage, common areas or cabins. Passengers are welcome to check cash and valuables with the Purser's office for safekeeping.

Pets :
Pets travel either in kennels or in pet cabins. They are not allowed in indoor public areas. Pet owners are responsible for feeding and pet hygiene. Pet owners are required to have their pet's valid health papers with them.

General Information :
Passengers are responsible for complying with all Port, Health and Customs regulations.

Passengers ought to comply with the captain and crew instructions regarding public order and safety on board.

Passengers must contact the captain or crew should a complaint arises while on board. For complaints or recommendations, they may also contact Paleologos s.a. customer service customerservice@ferries.gr 

after the end of the journey.
